BÉLA BAGOTA is a director, producer and screenwriter.
His first feature film Valan – Valley of Angels. The Transylvanian crime thriller premiered at the 2019 Warsaw Film Festival, then screened in Hungarian and Romanian cinemas, and has been recognized with numerous international festival awards. Since his first film, Béla has worked continuously on national and international television series, most recently developing a psychological thriller series with the support of French CNC (Bluebeard’s Daughters) and directing the second season of Side Effect for RTL.
Besides film directing and writing, Béla has gained professional experience as an assistant director in the last fifteen years in Hungarian (Heavenly Shift, Bad Poems) and international productions (The Martian, The Pendragon Cycle).
He is in charge of content development for the PISTACHIO series.
